Hey look who's about to ride a combine? It's author Jeanne Bender and her friend Ronda! They're in Iowa in the middle of a soybean field.
That combine is HUGE! It picks up plants and separates the seeds from the leaves. What do you think about this cool machine?

Yes I've been in a combine Alot. It's loud and dusty. At first I was really scared because I looked at it like a monster because of the front going down each row and eating up the corn. Then it takes each ear of corn and rips the corn off the cob. In the long run I was happy to have corn to feed the hungry. ..Alot of people love corn. Thanks to the farmers left in America
